5. Maps required: 173 and 172 – latest edition advisable.
6. The points will be determined by a set of grid references you will be given prior to start.
7. You will determine your best route based on the fact that no more than ¾ of the points may be visited. If more than ¾ of the clues are answered then the highest scoring will be discounted.
8. Marks awarded to each competitor will be based on the score in the relevant column alongside the clue.
9. Two hours from the point of being given the clues will be allowed to complete and return to
start. In the event of the competitor being over two hours you will be classified behind those that
completed it within two hours and if over 2 ½ hours you will be classified as a non finisher.
10. Please note your start and finish mileage.
11. The winner will be the competitor with the most marks.
12. In the event of a tie, the lowest mileage will be the deciding factor, if this is the same there will be a tie deciding question.
