Where is the year going, third magazine of the year already and the club is already involved in a number of events already held or soon to be held.
In the time since the last mag we have had the awards night held once again at Cumberwell golf club were a good time was had by those that attended, many thanks to Andy Purnell, Amy Fletcher and Janet Edwards for once again organising an enjoyable evening, which as well as presenting the awards also had some entertaining ways of occupying the evening.
The outcome of the evenings auctions and raffles were that a number of members ended the evening with some great items that they bid on and won in the auctions, along with a number of prizes won by many in the raffle which combined raised over £500.00 in support of the air ambulance.
We were joined on the night by the winning navigator of the Driveshaft rally to collect his awards who commented to myself on how well the event was organised and a comment of how a club with a small membership should be very proud to host such an event, This comment is from a man who is chairman of a club with much larger membership than ours so well done again to the organising team.
On other subjects we had a 12 car in Feb which was run by Andy Purnell and Matt Curtis results will I am sure be in the mag somewhere

Autosolo on March 13 th we have a full entry of 55 plus 5 reserves so can anyone who is able willing to marshall on the day please get in touch with me or go to the website homepage look on the autosolo heading and follow the read more tag to register as a marshall.
The March 12 car will be running on the 18th organised by Amy and Martin contact either of them for details
