Apparently we are now officially in summer so hopefully we can look forward to some good weather in the coming weeks which I am sure the gardeners amongst us will enjoy, Also means being able to get out and enjoy more motorsport related things without the need to be looking like Mr Bibendum ( who knows this name) i.e. wrapped in lots of layers to keep warm. Reminder to members that we are once again meeting for July club night at a different venue in our quest to find a new and suitable permanent home for the club, we are meeting for July at the New Inn Coate. At this meeting we will be looking for a decision from members on the preferred venue for future meetings. Since the MSUK launch of Streetcar it seems that the ramping up of this initiative to encourage new people into motorsport may be a slow burn thing rather than a huge impact from the start but any initiative that may bring new members can only be a good thing. With the next major events in the club calendar being the Classic Tour, Autosolo and Three Shires Rally if any members can assist on any of these events please contact the organisers as I am sure you are all aware marshals etc are always needed.
