The website now has the completed 2006 results available. The results pages on the website now have more information available.

Where previously 12 points would be shown for an organiser, this is now shown as 'org'. Points allocated to organisers are now shown in a new column. This is to enable the change in the rules for 2007 where, in order to qualify for organisers points in the class championships the member must compete in one qualifying event.

Additional information where 0 points was previously shown will now be shown as 'dnf' or 'otl'. Additionally in the overall table the leaders for the overall titles are now highlighted.

Marshalls should also note that from 2007 marshalls will be scoreing points towards the overall championship, this points will be available in the results tables.

Would organisers please note that club membership cards will be required to score points in the 2007 championship. This will help keep the website tables acurate by making sure that points are awarded correctly.

Hi All,

I have made a few changes to the website over the last couple of days. I will attempt to explain what and why.

The content management system we use has been developed, and the latest version offers a lot greater power and flexibility, so it made sense that we upgraded to this version. One of the biggest improvements was in the built-in forum, which prompted me to use this as a replacement for our current one. You can now log in to this site once, and access everything in one place.

All the changes have meant that I needed to update the layout a little, hence the new style. A few changes will also be required to some of the extra features, including the championship data. We will be working on this over the coming days.

An added bonus is that the servers that the site is now hosted on have been moved to the UK, so you should notice an improvement in the overall speed of the site.

Some new features are now also available which will be gradually integrated, including the ability to create newsletters and individual blogs.

If there is anything you would like to see on this site, please use the 'suggestions' thread on the forum.

A driver calls his navigator and says,

Driver: "Please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started."
Navigator: "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"
Driver: "According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster."

The navigator decides to go over and help with the puzzle.
The driver has the puzzle spread all over the table.
The navigator studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to the driver.

Navigator: "First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster. Secondly, I want you to relax. Let me get you a beer, and then... ", he said with a deep sigh, "Let's put all these corn flakes back in the box."
